We are excited to be collaborating with BRIC Brooklyn to celebrate the 10th anniversary of BRIC JazzFest this October. Running from October 17-19, join us in honoring a decade of discovering new sounds, pushing boundaries, and redefining what jazz can be. Featuring an incredible lineup including Brandee Younger, who has evolved from a rising star in 2015 to 2024's Artist Curator, Makaya McRaven, Allysha Joy, and many more.
Reflecting on BRIC JazzFest’s 10 year legacy, the team at BRIC shared their thoughts:
“Ten years in and BRIC JazzFest still feels like a giant musical conversation between the artists, the curators, and our amazing audience. We're proud to be a launchpad for emerging talent, and having a guest artist curator each year keeps things culturally and socially relevant. There's a real sense of discovery here, and that's what makes this festival so special.” - Viviana Benitez, Senior Producer
"BRIC JazzFest represents the true essence of BRIC: celebration and discovery. Celebration of our community, and discovery of the next generation of artists and innovators. At BRIC JazzFest, you can experience the best emerging talent alongside established titans in the space. This year’s guest curator Brandee Younger spans that divide between celebration and discovery. In her, all can see the future and lift up the present. As artist curator, she has worked alongside the BRIC team to honor the longevity and elevate this spirit of 10 years of JazzFest. I hope to see you at BRIC House where you might uncover your next inspiration." - Wes Jackson, BRIC President
